  One HELL of a week...!

  it's been one hell of a week so far peoples!.

  it was my oldest son's birthday on tuesday, he was twenty.

  for those who do not know, we are a quietly faded away from dubland family.

  i just wondered how many of you are ex jws, left or df'd, how many are still in but have lost heart?.

  are there any jws on here who still believe its all the truth, go to meetings and trust the organisation?.

  Me?Im just faded away after going for about 30 Years (virtually from a baby)and decided to drop out nearly 2 Years ago.Best thing ive ever done,though those 30 Years have left me to a small degree worrying about Armageddon etcdaft really,because its baloney...but there ya go.

  I dont believe its the truth at all.

  I would never go back,but miss some good friends.

  Elders disfellowship my cousin

  just a little background, my cousin is 38 and hasn't attended meetings for nearly 20 years.

  then, a week later, another elder and the circuit overseer came knocking for the same reason, so she decided to go to the thursday night meeting.

  then on sunday, she went for the talk, and was told she had an elder's meeting at 12:30 that afternoon.

  I was thinking much the same thing.The official line is that faders who dont associate with the JW,s or go to Meetings cant be touched?

  Would 1 and a half Meetings constitute a disfellowshipping?

  Or maybe new policies are in effect?

  i was told the reason for the guards was to prevent apostates from "attacking" anyone up there and disrupting the program.

  the society's new book 'organized to do jehovah's will', to be released in the congregations .

  on the 20th of march, introduces a change in the df and da announcements.

  announcements will read the same: "[name of person] is no longer one of jehovah's .

  2005 Barbecue Is Definitely On!

  saturday seems to be much preferred over sunday, so this years bbq will be held on saturday, july 9th, commencing around 2 pm.

  location is our home in weston super mare.

  as usual, the day will be very boozy and proceedings will conclude in the waverley pub.

  Public transportation in the UK is FAR too good for us to want to drive anywhere.
